Luxury: Jumeirah Golf Estates

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/31/2008 03:01:00 PM | | 0 comments »

Jumeirah, Dubai is fast becoming one of the most desirable addresses in the world. And in the heart of Jumeirah lies the Jumeirah Golf Estates; one of the world's most prestigious residential golfing communities. With four courses inspired by the natural elements - Fire, Earth, Water and Wind.

Golf fans out there might have heard of the courses at Jumeirah Golf Estates - there have been two huge tournaments held there already. With course designers including Greg Norman and Vijay Singh, Jumeirah Golf Estates is set to create a new standard in Dubai and internationally.

And the golf courses arn't even the best part. Haha.

Each luxury villa in the gated community faces onto one of the four golf courses. With private pools, personal balconies for bedrooms, rooms for a maid and even a driver, these houses are kitted out to furnish a 21st century luxury lifestyle. All homes are also fitted with the most amazing electrical systems in the world - all Bang and Olufsen. Most villas come with a golf caddy, pimped out with a computer which tells you all about playing golf on the course you are playing it, measuring distance from the hole and giving you tips on how to play it. Some homes at the Jumeirah Golf Estates even come with a limited-edition super-charged Range Rover parked in the triple garage.

That is what I call a house! The villas at Jumeirah Golf Estates are the perfect social house, and I'm pretty sure the perfect life comes along with the purchase. Haha.

Who else wants one?

My Summer 2008 ultimate outfit is complete. And it's beautiful. Check it out below.

This lightweight zip-up jacket from Giorgio Brato is amazing.

These Persol sunglasses are the must have pair this summer. Get them.

The necklace from the Martin Margiela Barbed Wire collection.

This retro tee from Topman is extremely cool.

The bracelet.

And the ring.

The most beautiful jeans on earth: Dior Homme slim fit.

My favourite. Ever. Out of everything. The D&G High-Tops.

I've also added the ultimate summer 2008 outfit to the sidebar so you can check it out whenever you like. Until Autumn comes and we start the next ultimate outfit that is. Haha.

Affirmation Girl

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/31/2008 02:04:00 PM | | 0 comments »

LisaNova is one of the most legendary YouTube superstars. Affirmation Girl is my favourite of all the amazing LisaNova characters. Check out Affirmation Girl's description below.

"The Affirmation Girl series is about a girl who tries to use affirmations and positive thinking to better her life. She starts out every episode by doing her daily affirmations into the mirror. Unfortunately the specific things she puts positive energy into end up going horribly wrong. this never stops her from doing her daily Affirmations however."

This is the third video in the series. It's hilarious.

This is the final piece of my ultimate outfit for Summer 2008. We already have the accessories - jewellery and sunglasses, the shoes - beautiful high-tops, the retro tee and the ultimate jeans. All we need now is a good summer jacket to round it all off.

This lightweight zip-up jacket from Giorgio Brato is the perfect fit.

Spring/Summer '09 Roundup

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/31/2008 09:35:00 AM | , | 0 comments »

The menswear Spring/Summer 2009 collections were amazing. All the ones featured here were amazing anyway. Haha. Check out my favourite outfit from each show below.

The D&G collection was the first one I posted about and turned out to be my definite overall favourite of the season. There's not really much surprise there actually. Haha.

The next show I posted about was John Galliano. You know I always love the crazy we get from Galliano.

Miharayasuhiro was the next collection I posted about and it was definitely the sleves on this jacket that made this one of my favourite SS09 shows.

Then I gave you a post with pics from the Etro collection. It was beautiful, especially the materials. The outfit below is a great example of the stuff we saw in this show.

Raf Simons was up next. This collection was one of my favourites of the season due to the amazing tailoring and subtle design points together that made beautiful clothing.

Then I brought you a post about the Dolce & Gabbana SS09 show. It was amazing too. And it was on the frontline of the pyjama trend of Spring/Summer 2009. The leader I think you could say.

Lanvin was next. My favourite piece of this collection was the jacket you see below. It's a beauty.

Dior Homme never fail to impress. I really loved this brown suit. The material is amazing.

Next up was Burberry Prorsum and the beautiful outfit below.

Bottega Veneta was also a big player in the pyjama trend.

The last post I made on the Spring/Summer '09 collections was on the Dsquared² show. I usually hate denim in anything but jeans, but this completely denim suit changed that.

My favourite piece of the whole season has to be the Miharayasuhiro jacket (featured up a little bit). I know - interesting choice, right? The deep v-necks from the D&G collection come a close second.

July Roundup

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/31/2008 06:28:00 AM | 0 comments »

Today is the 31st of July 2008 and so to mark the end of the month I thought I'd post a big round-up of everything that's went on at my blog in the last 31 days.

In July, I got back to posting lots - after a really bad 16 posts in June, I got my act together and posted 66 times (67 after this is published) this month. I'm quite proud of that - it's more than twice a day! Haha. My favourite posts are always on the menswear collections, and this July brought the Spring/Summer 2009 shows. They were amazing. Check out some of my favourite outfits from the season below and click on the pic to check out my SS09 posts.

I'm not going to say much else about the Spring/Summer '09 collections yet, 'cause I'll be posting a big round-up of them later, so stay tuned to find out stuff like the hottest collection of SS09 and the hottest pieces out of them all. It'll be good.

There was a huge supply of amazing cars this month for the blog and I shared them all with you. I think you'll all agree, they were all beautiful, but my favourite was definitely the BMW M1 Hommage. Why does my favourite have to be a "design study"?

If the M1 Hommage never reaches production, I guess I'll settle with the Ferrari California, that was pretty hot too.

The gadget posts were also in full swing this month with loads of really cool stuff like the wacko disposable nail watch and the beautiful 14.7 megapixel Samsung NV100HD but my definite favourite was the Mac Tablet.

Although I doubt the computer in the picture above will be the final product, I've got a feeling the tablet will actually be unveiled by Apple when they introduce their new products around September. I'll keep you up to date with it so look out.

July also saw the start of my movie review posts with LoveFilm, the first movie I reviewed was The Invisible. Click here to check out my write-up and learn all about LoveFilm. That reminds me, I've got to get down to watching my next DVD and posting my review on that. At least I'm showing you all how long you can have a film from LoveFilm without any late fees at all. Haha.

This month was a good one for music too, and I brought you all my favourite music videos. The best? Sam Sparro's 21st Century Life. Check it out below.

can't see the vid? click here

Although, for a live performance, Vampire Weekend's performance of A-Punk at T in the Park was proper unbeatable.

As always, I posted loads of hot ready to wear stuff this month, but my favourite by far was definitely these D&G high-tops. Click the pic and go to the post.

Those are also part of my ultimate Summer '08 outfit which I'll be completing very soon, so stay tuned for it. It's going to be hot. I promise.

I'll finish up with this hilarious Elmo prank call video by Edbassmaster.

July has been a good month at CIARANMOORE.blogspot.com, but I'm going to make August an even better one, so click below and subscribe! That is, ofcourse, if you havn't subscribed already. If you're already subscribed you're obviously extremely cool.

Hottest Jeans On Earth

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/31/2008 05:50:00 AM | , , | 0 comments »

I was thinking about the best choice for the jeans in my ultimate outfit and I came to the conclusion that a pair of slim cut Dior Homme jeans would definitely be the ultimate pair of jeans.

The shape and cut of Dior Homme jeans is actually unbeatable - the way they bundle up at the bottom of the leg is like no other jean. Haha. And that's what makes these slim cut ones the must-have pair for Summer 2008.

My collection of the hottest stuff for Summer 2008 is really coming together. It'll be complete pretty soon, so stay tuned for the final outfit.

P.S. I hope you like the new page. I think it works much better this way and I'll keep adding to all the fun stuff at the side. I'll be getting a new translator for the side too, which translates the whole website into your language. Well maybe not your language, because that's English ofcourse - you're reading this already. Okay, I'm going to stop now.

Breakfast Gets Beautiful

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/31/2008 03:48:00 AM | | 0 comments »

This is the V-Line concept. It has an amazing glass toaster on the back and an induction heater on the front for stuff like the kettle.

I especially like the glass toaster on this - it is really what the toaster industry has always needed. Haha. Now I can watch my toast and make sure it doesn't get burnt. Perfect.

I really like all the kind of touch-screen functions on this aswell. They're really cool. The V-Line is definitely showing a change in the usually boring kitchen gadgets.

P.S. I honestly do not have a clue why there's a feather(?) on the heater in the first pic (bottom right). Craziness. That's certainly not what I'd use the V-Line for.

If anyone's got better eyesight or just general knowledge than me and can actually tell me what that is for sure, leave it in the comments.

I've been building my ultimate Summer '08 outfit up for a bit now. I think it's about time I added another must have to the collection.

Everyone knows Topman t-shirts are style staples and obvious must-haves. This retro tee is extremely cool, so it naturally fits into my collection of the hottest stuff to wear this summer. AND it's only £20!

Click here to subscribe and watch out for the rest of the ultimate outfit coming up.

Check out this hot outfit I've put together from some of the hottest stuff around the internets.

This double breasted cardigan from Kris Van Assche is hot. It's quite expensive - $758 (£380) - but it's a beauty anyway.

These beautiful sunglasses from Oliver Peoples collection, Mosley Tribes, are $180 (£90).

I really like this t-shirt from Neil Barrett with a cool face mask print on the front. It's $268 (£135).

This necklace with a pretzel pendant is amazing. $230 (£115)

This Tableturns watch from Flud Watches is proper cool. $80 (£40)

Nice wristwear from Topman. It's only £8 too.

Some much-needed colour in this outfit with this hot blue belt. $20 (£10)

Cheap Monday jeans are cool. $95 (£47)

D&G mid-rise sneakers. $276 (£138)

Eco Gets Beautiful

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/26/2008 12:36:00 AM | | 0 comments »

Most ecological automobiles are pretty ugly. For example the Toyota Prius. Yuck. The Scorpion from Ronn Motors is here to change it all.

This extreme beauty runs on 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine VTEC from Acura which is fuelled by hydrogen from an on-demand hydrogen system that breaks down water molecules and holds them in a non-pressurized tank which eliminates the need for a hydrogen refueling station. Between 30 and 40 percent hydrogen gets mixed with the gasoline allowing the Scorpion to do 40 mpg.

AND it can go from 0-60 in no more than 3.5 seconds. WOW.

The Scorpion costs $150,000. I think it would be worth it; beauty AND eco-cool.

Click on the pics for larger views, then go to Ronn Motors website for more info on the Scorpion.

Who Else Wants An NV100HD?

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/25/2008 11:21:00 PM | | 0 comments »

This is the NV100HD, the new high definition camera from Samsung. It's got 14.7 Megapixels. WOW.

It also has an extremely cool touch screen on the back and loads of cool new stuff including the ability to automatically detect up to nine faces in the photo and automatically ‘touch them up,’ optimizing focus and brightness.

It can also detect when someone has blinked while the photo was taken, it takes three shots in a row to ensure it captures people when their eyes are open and a smile detector automatically takes a shot when it detects someone is smiling.

AND it looks extremely good. The NV100HD is available in four beautiful colour options.

This is one of the coolest camera to come out in quite a while, and I think I gotta get myself one of these. Check out the video below for more info on the NV100HD.

Hottest

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/25/2008 02:33:00 AM | , , | 0 comments »

Check out the latest addition to my ultimate Summer '08 outfit; a pair of Persols. These are definitely the must-have sunglasses this summer.

I'll keep adding all the hottest stuff I find to the ultimate SS08 outfit, so stay tuned for more extremely good-lookin' stuff.

And BTW: if you have any suggestions for additions to the ultimate outfit, lemme know.

These sunglasses were $225 (£115) on the site I've linked to (the pic) but if you use the little best deals search function in the box at the bottom of my right column, you might be able to find a better price.

WOW: BMW M1 Hommage

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/24/2008 01:45:00 AM | | 0 comments »

Every single detail of the M1 Hommage design study from BMW is amazing.

The louvered rear window is amazing and so is the seperation of the top of the car and the bottom at the car all along the back. The rear lights are pretty cool too.

The lines and edges of this car, and the shape of the front and the back bumpers, much different from the BMW shape we're used to seeing.

I love the way the headlights are hidden beneath the fascia of the supercar.

Check out the wheels too. Beautiful.

And the positioning of the two badges at the back is cool too.

Click on the pictures to check them out with a larger view and see if you can notice any of the other amazing parts of the M1 Hommage.

This design study was made in honour of the thirteenth birthday of the original M1.

I think I can safely say the BMW M1 Hommage is one of the hottest cars I've seen in my whole life.

Disposable Nail Watch?

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/24/2008 12:35:00 AM | | 0 comments »

This is a completely crazy but amazing creation; the Timex TX54 disposable nail watch design concept.

This design was one of the runners up in Timex's global design competition to mark their 150th year in the industry.

While its translucency makes it blend seamlessly with the hand, a selection of text color options and a glow feature that activates on command make it easy to read.

I hope Timex put the TX54 into production, 'cause it's damn cool.

Gotta Get Me These

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/23/2008 10:39:00 AM | , , | 0 comments »

These are the most beautiful pair of high-tops I've ever seen in my life. They are from D&G's Autumn/Winter '08 collection and I need to get them for $430/£215.

Serious piece of foot-candy! Haha.

I'm adding these to my collection of amazing stuff for the hottest outfit ever. I've already got the full collection of Martin Margiela barbed wire jewellery. These will make a beautiful addition. I'll give you that outfit soon, so remember to stay tuned and lookout for it.

I don't really use the phrase "foot-candy". Just BTW. Haha

Honda OSM

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/23/2008 10:22:00 AM | | 0 comments »

The OSM was released by Honda at the London Motor Show this week as a "design study", meaning they don't have any plans to put it into production. Bad times.

I'm a bit sceptic about the whole design study thing; why reveal a car at a motor show if you're not even thinking about selling it.

I don't know about you, but I definitely hope Honda do more with this little beauty than put it in the design study storage area to sit and look pretty for the rest of eternity.

P.S. I just made up the design study storage area. It doesn't exist. Well, I hope not, or we're losing out on a lot of beautiful automobiles.

P.P.S. You can click on the pictures and look at them in a bigger version. Fun.

Always gotta have some hot sunglasses included in your outfit. These aviators from Jeepers Peepers at ASOS are only £16.

This pyramid stud bracelet from ASOS is amazing. It's only £5 too. Wow.

These white padded boots from Topman are extremely cool. £30

Spring/Summer '09: Dries Van Noten

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/18/2008 03:13:00 AM | | 0 comments »

The SS09 menswear collection from Dries Van Noten is much different from his SS08 collection, but still completely beautiful.

Dries called this collection "subtle sartorial" and that is exactly what he has perfected in it.

Gentlemen MP3 Player

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/18/2008 03:00:00 AM | | 0 comments »

Designers are getting more innovative with the design of MP3 players, and this is definitely a good result of that. It's the Gentlemen MP3 player by Korean designer, Jin Woo Han; an MP3 player disguised as a tie clip.

The single line LED display can also be used as a message panel so you can display cheesy messages to all your friends, like the one above; "Have A Nice Day". Haha. Love it.

Eiffel Tower: The Phone

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/18/2008 02:34:00 AM | | 0 comments »

This is the FL, for French Luxury. Modelled on the most famous French landmark of all, the Eiffel Tower, it has been developed by MobiFrance to commemorate French Independence Day. It's a full touch screen phone with a 7.2MP camera (wow) and speakers on the side. I think this shape really suits a phone - it can stand up for when you're sitting at your desk and want to keep your eye on the screen, or for when you're looking at photos or videos.

I'm not even French and I want one. I'm not going to worry though, 'cause I guess that's normal - everyone will want a piece of the FL.

Osprey Bell 609

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/17/2008 09:21:00 PM | | 0 comments »

Check out the first civilian Osprey. It's an aeroplane that can take off and land vertically, like a helicopter. Up till now, these type of jets were only used by the military, on a much bigger scale obviously.

The Osprey Bell 609 is much smaller than the military vehicles, and much more cost-effective too; the military version (the Osprey V-22) costs up to $115million, while the 609 is only $20million. Bargain, yeah?

After takeoff, it can rotate its engines forward to vertical allowing it to fly with the speed and efficiency of an airplane. It’ll seat up to 9 passengers, has an 1100 mile range, and can hit 300 mph at 25,000 ft.

I want one.

I really like this set, it's a real innovative creation and (worn with the right stuff, ofcourse) it will give a really good look.

I'll include the collection in an outfit sometime. Haha. stay tuned and look out for it.

Ring: $172
Bracelet: $354

Tag Heuer Meridist

I love Tag Heuer watches, and I also love their first ever mobile phone, the Meridist. It's beautiful.

Meridiist aims at being the pocket watch of the 21st century. The phone sports a unique secondary top screen that displays the time.

TAG Heuer Meriidist Phone Watch comes with an all-in-one USB plug to charge the phone as well as transfer data to the PC. The design has been inspired from the Microsplit and Monaco products. The phone has been Swiss engineered and hand assembled from 430 components. It's constructed from corrosion-resistant, watch making 316L steel. The dual displays have been crafted from scratch-resistance 60.5 carats sapphire crystal. It has a 28-day standby time and 7 hours of talktime.

I really want one of these. Check out the video from Tag Heuer below.

Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/11/2008 03:48:00 AM | | 0 comments »

This is the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series and it's actually beautiful.

It has a carbon fiber hood, fenders and trunk, along with nixing the retractable hard top in favor of a fixed carbon fiber roof with an integrated roll cage. As such, the Black is 550 pounds lighter than the stock SL65, coming in at 4,122 pounds. Seven vents – three in the bumper, two on the hood and two in the fenders – feed copious quantities of air to the 6.0-liter V12, fitted with a duo of upgraded turbochargers. Power is up to 661 hp available at 5,400 rpm, while torque is at 738 lb.-ft. With a five-speed automatic gearbox equipped with AMG's speedshift software, the Black can hit 60 mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to a gearing-limited top speed of 199 mph.

This is the sportiest and most beautiful Mercedes I've ever seen. It'll be hitting the showrooms early next year and it'll be priced at $320,000 for the US. Not sure about the UK yet though. I can't wait. Haha.

Nylon And Sweat Mix Baseball Sleeve Jacket from ASOS, £40.

Sleep When You're Dead T-Shirt from Religion at ASOS, £35.

Gold Tape Trim Logo Plate Jeans in black from Dolce & Gabbana, $383 (£194).

LoveFilm

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/10/2008 02:12:00 AM | , | 0 comments »

As part of CIARANMOORE.blogspot.com's new partnership with LoveFilm, I'll be bringing you reviews of all the films I watch from my amazing LoveFilm subscription. But maybe I think I should tell you all a bit about it first.

LoveFilm is an online DVD and game rental company and it makes places like Blockbuster seem like stupid ideas. Haha.

All you have to do with LoveFilm is pay at least £3.99 a month, make a list on their website of all the films you'd like to see, then you get your first movie in the post a day or two later. You can keep it for as long as you want without any other charge than your monthly charge EVER. No late fees like those crappy video shops. LOL. When you send it back, they automatically send another film from your list. Simple as that. It's pretty fun TBH.

The first movie from my list on LoveFilm I'm going to review is called The Invisible. Check out the trailer then I'll try to tell you what I think about it without giving away the story.

I had never heard of The Invisible before I saw it on LoveFilm, but I read the description and it sounded really good. It looks like a bit of a horror movie from the trailer but I don't think it was really scary. That doesn't make it bad though, at all; the story in this film is really gripping and interesting throughout, and the unexpected love story in the middle of all the ghostly action is really really good.

"Nick, is a high school senior with a bright future until, in a tragic case of mistaken identity, he is brutally attacked by a troubled girl, Annie, and his body is left for dead. Now in limbo, not quite dead but invisible to the living, his spirit can only watch as his mother and the police search frantically for him, unaware that he is only hours away from truly perishing."

The Invisible got five stars from me on LoveFilm, and my mum thought it was amazing too. LOL.

If The Invisible sounds like your type of movie, subscribe to LoveFilm and add it to your list today, if not, subscribe to LoveFilm anyway and you can check out the thousands of other movies available. It's only £3.99 a month. Seriously, you wont regret it.

And remember to keep a look out for the review of my next movie from LoveFilm.

The World's New Largest Water Fountain

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/10/2008 12:12:00 AM | , | 0 comments »

This is the soon-to-be largest water fountain in the world, set to be built in Dubai (ofcourse). The powerful nozzles shoot water as high as 490 feet (50 storeys), compared with the 460 feet of the Bellagio Fountains. Outdoing the Bellagio further, the proposed fountain will use over 6,600 lights for its show, while the Bellagio uses 4,500.

The jets fire in controlled time sequence and varying pressures, at different angles, all for the purpose of making musical shows, where the columns of water move like the lines of music equalizer display. Pretty cool, huh?

This is definitely exactly what the world needs right now; another reason to visit Dubai. Haha.

Kean Etro's menswear collection for SS09 is full of amazing pattern, light, fun fabrics and great shapes.

Really big on the low-low V-neck. I like.

The Apple Mac Tablet

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/08/2008 09:20:00 PM | | 0 comments »

This laptop doesn’t need a keyboard and extremely practical for business professionals, artists and technology leaders.

The most appealing part in this 13.3 inch widescreen LCD is that it will enable one to inscribe on the screen with true pen and Handwriting recognition. This sleek laptop will hit the market with all essential features such as internal CD/DVD combo drive, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi capabilities and Global Positioning System.

We've only been given the price for the US so far ($2,199), I don't know what it'll be when it hits the UK, but I'll definitely be wanting one. I'm looking forward to its release.

Dolce & Gabbana

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/06/2008 08:13:00 PM | , | 0 comments »

The outfits I put together are usually really casual, so I thought I'd change it around a bit and give you all an outfit that's little a bit more formal.

This Dolce & Gabbana outfit would be perfect for dinner or going out at night.

This black blazer with tape detail on the back, sleeves, pockets and hem. It's $1039/£522.

I really like the details on the sleve and on the collar of this shirt. It's a beauty. $335/£170

This belt is cool. $239/£120

Though these are jeans, they've got a really formal-trouser-ish shape, and they're black, so they'll be cool in semi-formal situations. $345/£174

These shoes are really cool. $479/£240

Dance Wiv Me

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/06/2008 07:41:00 PM | | 0 comments »

One of the hottest collaborations around right now, Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris made one of my favourite songs, Dance Wiv Me. It's mega-catchy and an all round real good song. AND it just hit the #1 spot in the UK singles chart. Check out the vid.

Back To 2008

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/05/2008 02:30:00 AM | , | 0 comments »

Okay, everytime the new collections are revealed I show you all my favourites and sometimes you don't get to see enough of what you should be wearing right now instead of a year from now. So, I'm trying to change that tonight by bringing you some stuff that you should definitely be wearing right now. I've been careful to make sure that everything in this amazing outfit is from the Spring/Summer 2008 collections. Check it out.

This amazing bomber jacket from D&G is $383 (yeah, USD). And it's reversible. Hotness. I love the little badge on it. It's a beauty.

This Pincer Clamp Necklace from the SS08 collection from Dolce and Gabbana is one of the most amazing creations I've ever seen. It truly fascinates me BTW. $239

I really love this cartoon print t-shirt from Frankie Morello. It's $95.

This croc stamped blue belt from Chopard will add a helpful bit of colour into the outfit, making it a bit of a focal piece. It deserves it. It's a beauty. $383

Okay, I've kind of cheated with this one. It's from the Autumn/Winter '08 collections. I admit it! Haha. But I just had to add it, it's amazing and it completely matches "the look". LOL. It's from Martin Margiela and it's $354.

Amazing crash black jeans from Dior Homme. The shape on these are fantastic. $335

Stud Strap Sneakers in black from Hirumo Takahara. These are completely cool BTW.

That post took me ages so you better appreciate it. Haha.

The menswear SS09 collection from Miharayasuhiro: ILY!

I really, really love the tiny sleve details on some of this stuff. It's amazing. The fabrics are really cool in this collection too, and I'm definitely really feeling the gradient stuff.

An Indoor Golf Arena

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/03/2008 10:25:00 PM | | 0 comments »

The Indoor Golf Arena is an 18,000 square meter indoor golfing facility opening in the Netherlands in 2010.

It has a 14,000 sq m artificial grass practice area complete with putting and chipping greens, bunkers and water hazards. There's also a 34-bay rooftop driving range, and 20 ProTee golf simulators which will offer golfers a wide selection of international courses. Meanwhile, the center’s 28 hitting bays are well equipped with the latest swing analysis equipment to perfect all other aspects of the game.

On top of its world-class training facility, the Indoor Golf Arena comprises top quality business facilities, a golf course for kids, a wellness center with a sauna and spa, a restaurant, lounge and bar, a large golf equipment shop and a four-star hotel, making it a veritable hub for all golf enthusiasts the world over.

I think this is a good idea. It'll definitely be a big attraction for the Netherlands. And it's an amazing building.

Check out the indoor golf arena's website.

The Marques De Riscal Building

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/03/2008 07:34:00 PM | | 0 comments »

Frank O. Gehry, architect of the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao has designed the Marques De Riscal, a wine hotel in the heart of the Rioja wine region of Spain. It's another complete beauty. Check it out.

"The collection of vintage wine in here is as vast as 16,000 bottles, including another thousands of bottles worth of barreled wine. As a complement to the wine experience, the guest in the Marques De Riscal get to enjoy a backdrop of cozy rooms, and stunning interior design. What’s more, the hotel has its own vineyard which guests are allowed to tour, in addition to receiving tours of the surrounding area."

I've never heard of a wine hotel before. Guess it'd be pretty fun though. Haha. Especially with a building like that.

Shut Up And Let Me Go

The Ting Tings are one of my favourite bands, and their latest single, Shut Up and Let Me Go from their unmissable album We Started Nothing, is one of my favourite songs. They're doing well. Haha.

Check out the video for Shut Up and Let Me Go, it's amazing.

P.S. Dont you hate when YouTube videos are disabled from embedding? So annoying. LOL.

Spring/Summer '09: John Galliano

John Galliano always brings the crazy with his collections. And I always love it. The Spring/Summer '09 collection from Galliano was full of colour and full of crazy punk stuff. Check it out.

Check those shoes. Haha.

John Galliano teaches men to have lots of fun with their style. Good thing.

Ferrari Millechili

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/02/2008 08:44:00 PM | | 0 comments »

This is the Ferrari Millechili concept, and I'm quite sure it's one of the hottest concept's I've ever seen. In my life.

he production vehicle is tipped to be based on the F430's platform - remember that the 288 GTO and F40 were based on modified 308 underpinnings - but feature a 600hp V10 in a lightweight 1000kg package, with a lengthened wheelbase of around 104 inces, a $500,000 price tag and a production run of 300, so you're lucky if you get a hold of one.

I wanna be lucky. Haha.

Spring/Summer '09: D&G

Posted by Ciaran Moore | 7/02/2008 07:37:00 PM | , | 0 comments »

I'm starting my posts on what we're all looking forward to for Spring/Summer next year with the D&G collection. As always, it was fucking fantastic. Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce never fail to impress: truth.

After last season's (amazing) Highland fling, Dolce and Gabbana turned it right round and brought us a fun, fresh, new collection inspired by the French Riviera. Check it out.

I'm especially loving the really low v-necks in this collection, with the multiple stripes around them. Pretty sexy. The materials used in the suits are also pretty amazing.
